Disaster Relief

In case of a disaster of catastrophic nature happening anywhere in the world, Lily Foundation responds by making a donation to a credible and renowned local or international organization which is committed to relief efforts.

Past Efforts

We have donated towards the relief efforts of the following natural disasters and international emergencies:

Dallas/ Fort Worth 2020- COVID 19 Relief – Lily Foundation is partnering with Roar 4 Change to support DFW seniors with emergency meals during the COVID 19 crisis

Dallas/ Fort Worth 2020– COVID 19 Relief – Lily’s support for the local DFW community continues during the COVID 19 crisis

India 2020- COVID 19 Relief – Lily’s support for families in crisis continues during COVID 19 crisis

Orissa, India 2019- Lily Foundation sent a donation of INR 50,000 for flood relief

Kerala, India 2018- Kerala experienced the worst flooding in a century. We donated to the flood relief efforts

Hurricane Harvey 2017– Lily Foundation supported relief efforts post the devastating storms

Balurghat, West Bengal 2017– Lily Foundation distributed relief supplies in the aftermath of flooding

Nepal Earthquake Relief, May-June 2015– Relief donation was sent to Bharat Sevashram Sangha.

WACO Fertilizer Disaster, May 2013– Donation was made for the victims of fire.

Pakistan flood of 2010 -Lily Foundation donated to CARE, who did the relief work in the field

Bihar, India Flood of 2008 -Lily Foundation contributed generously to Red Cross/ Red Crescent in India.

Hurricane Katrina, 2005– Hurricane Katrina was an extremely destructive and deadly Category 5 hurricane that made landfall on Florida and Louisiana in August 2005, causing catastrophic damage

Great Tsunami 2004 Lily Foundation contributed generously to CARE through IANT, Dallas.

Assam flood 2004 victims and Bangladesh flood victims in 2004 were helped.

Bangladesh Cold Front of 2002-2003 Lily Foundation in collaboration with HRCBM distributed blankets, clothes and sweaters to the disadvantaged families.

India Earthquake of 2001 was one of the worst natural disasters in the recent memory.

Unity USA fund 2001 was established to collect donations for the victims of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington DC.
