While India is a successful leader in Information Technology, digital literacy and access is concentrated mainly in the urban centers. In most of rural India, where two-thirds of the population resides, digital literacy is low and very few training resources are available to the local students.
New Computer Center
We can reduce this “digital divide” by making available the necessary hardware and software in the rural areas. We are trying to achieve this by setting up computer centers in smaller towns and rural areas.
