Coming from a family of four, where father earns in small business Rs. 1600/- (less than $36) a month, Sourav scores 87% in Madhyamik 2008. He displays interest in areas of serving the country, being an NCC cadet for a couple of years. He has been a candidate in Chetana Bigyan Sangstha for three years. He helps the family by earning Rs. 500/- a month by teaching students of math and science. Sourav loves too play cricket and study Chemistry. He wants to be a teacher in Chemical Engineering when he grows up.
