Coming from a family of nine, where father is farmer earning Rs 2000/- (less than $45) a month, Paban is the first boy in class. Needless to mention, his annual exam score average is A+. From his scholarship money he is keeping Rs. 50/- aside for the fuel cost of his kerosene lamp. Besides studies, Paban is good at sports and cultural activities for which he bags prizes. He helps his father in farming. Paban's hobby is reading books, and he wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
