Coming from a family of 6 with a monthly income of Rs. 1000 /- (less than $ 29 ) earned by father as a small land- laborer , Laxmi secures A average in the last annual exam.

Laxmi participates in cultural as well as sports competitions equally well, securing prizes and certificates. She is a ferv e nt reader of story books. Laxmi wants to be an ideal teacher when she grows up.
