Coming from a family of 5 , where father is a small farmer earning only Rs. 1500 /- a month (less than $ 32 ) , Budan secures A average in the annual exam .

Budan participates in rescue effort of the villagers stranded in the week-long incessant rains of 2009. He wins prizes in school sports and cultural events. His hobby is gardening. Budan wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
