Ghatsila organized a mega healthfair January 23rd, 2011 on the Kashida hospital front ground where several thousand patients got free health checkup and prescription drugs. A dozen specialists were at hand to examine cardiac, eye, dental, general, children and women health problems. On-site clinical and pathological labs uncluding diagnostic facility were set up.
Ghatsila, Jharkhand organized a mega healthfair in 2009 on JC High School ground where 2 thousand patients got free health checkup and prescription drugs. Thirteen physician-specialists volunteered to examine cardiac, eye, dental, general, children and women health problems.
Behala, Kolkata organized a medcamp in 2010 mainly for eye exams and general and cardiac healthchecks. Eye-glasses were provided free in some cases. Prescription drugs were distributed. Over 200 patients visited the camp held in a local school premises.

Bipasa Bose was suffering from Leukemia ......
........and mother Pampa Bose was suffering from breast cancer. The doubly-troubled family in Bihar was awarded a monetary gift in the amount of donation fund specifically created for this purpose.
S. Gulzar Singh of Sundarnagar, Jamshedpur was suffering from severe problems of kidney failure and stomach problems. He was admitted in the TATA main hospital for several days. The family was awarded a gift check in December 2002.
Prof. Hiranmoy Pandey of Bangladesh underwent organ transplantation. The family was awarded a gift check in 2003.
Indraneil Sen of Carrollton, TX had to undergo leukemia treatment. Lily Foundation helped raise funds in 2004.
Krishna Kirtan, a retired school teacher in Dhaka, was helped in 2004 to meet emergency healthcare expenses.
Ronald Mcdonald House in Dallas is supported every year for the temporary home of kids who are to be admitted to hospitals in Dallas for long-term treatment. These kids come from different cities of Texas, 50 miles outside of Dallas.
Santosh Dey, father of SMILE scholar Sajal dey, was hit by a truck during work as a construction worker in Ghatsila. He was helped to defray a part of the hospital bills.
Satyaki Das of Kolkata had to undergo a spinal surgery to enhance his predicatable life-span. The family was helped for the operation in USA.
